Bogut To Sign With Cavaliers

Center Andrew Bogut is expected to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers after he receives an expected buyout from the Philadelphia 76ers following the trade that sent him to the 76ers from the Dallas Mavericks.

Bogut, 32, has been in the NBA for 12 seasons and has played for 3 different teams. He is coming off of a season in which he played in 70 games and averaged 20.7 minutes per game, 5.4 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 1.6 blocks per game, and 0.5 steals per game. He shot 62.7% from the field, 100.0% from 3-point range, and 48.0% from the free throw line.

This season, Bogut has played in 26 games and averaged 22.4 minutes per game, 3.0 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, 1.9 assists per game, 1.0 block per game, and 0.5 steals per game. He is shooting 46.9% from the field, 0.0% from 3-point range, and 27.3% from the free throw line.

Over his 12-year NBA career, Bogut has played in 670 games and averaged 29.1 minutes per game, 10.0 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 1.6 blocks per game, and 0.7 steals per game.
