Nets Trade Bogdanovic, McCullough to Wizards for Nicholson, Thornton, and 2017 First Round Pick

The Brooklyn Nets have traded shooting guard Bojan Bogdanovic and power forward Chris McCullough to the Washington Wizards in exchange for power forward Andrew Nicholson and shooting guard Marcus Thornton as well as a 2017 first round NBA Draft pick.

Bogdanovic, 27, has been in the NBA for 3 seasons, all with the Nets. He is coming off of a season in which he played in 79 games and averaged 26.8 minutes per game, 11.2 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists per game, 0.1 blocks per game, and 0.4 steals per game. He shot 43.3% from the field, 38.2% from 3-point range, and 83.3% from the free throw line.

This season, Bogdanovic has played in 55 games and averaged 26.9 minutes per game, 14.2 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game, 0.1 blocks per game, and 0.4 steals per game. He is shooting 44.0% from the field, 35.7% from 3-point range, and 87.4% from the free throw line.
