Manchester United Advances to EFL Cup Final

Manchester United has advanced to the final round of the English Football League Cup and will play against Southampton. Despite losing by a score of 2-1 to Hull City on Thursday afternoon, ending their 17-game unbeaten streak, they advanced 3-2 on aggregate.

Paul Pogba scored Manchester United’s only goal in the 66th minute to level the game. However, in the 85th minute, Oumar Niasse got one back for the Tigers, but they were unable to get one more to send it into extra time.

The final, which will be played on Sunday, February 26th, 2017, at Wembley Stadium, will be a crucial game for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho’s season, whose team is currently sitting at 6th in the league tables.
