Hawks Trade Korver to Cavaliers for Dunleavy, Williams, and a 2019 Draft Pick

The Atlanta Hawks have traded shooting guard Kyle Korver to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for shooting guard Mike Dunleavy, point guard Mo Williams, and a first-round draft pick in 2019. Korver will be owed $5.2 million at the end of this season, while Dunleavy will be owed $4.8 million.

Korver, 35, has been in the NBA for 14 seasons and has played for 4 different teams. He is coming off of a season in which he played in 80 games and averaged 30.0 minutes per game, 9.2 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, 2.1 assists per game, 0.4 blocks per game, and 0.8 steals per game. He shot 43.5% from the field, 39.9% from 3-point range, and 83.3% from the free throw line.

So far this season, Korver has played in 32 games and averaged 27.9 minutes per game, 9.5 points per game, 2.8 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 0.4 blocks per game, and 0.7 steals per game. He is shooting 44.1% from the field, 40.9% from 3-point range, and 88.9% from the free throw line.
