After failing three drug tests in 2016, Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end Randy Gregory has been suspended by the NFL for at least one year. Gregory had initially been suspended for four games for violating league’s drug policy. After a couple months, he failed another drug test, leading to a 10-game suspension and a possible year-long suspension.
The Cowboys activated Gregory off of the reserve/exempt list in late December, and Gregory played his first game of the season against the Detroit Lions, where he collected only two tackles. He did play against the Philadelphia Eagles, which ended up being his last game of the season. Gregory will have to apply for reinstatement before he can play with the team again.
