Doug Martin Suspended for 4 Games

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ running back Doug Martin has been suspended for four games due to his usage of performance-enhancing drugs.

Martin, 27, has played in the NFL for 5 seasons, all with the Buccaneers. Over his 5-year NFL career, Martin has played in 57 games and carried the ball 1,012 times for 4,227 rushing yards (4.2 average yards per carry) and 23 rushing touchdowns. He has also caught 121 passes for 1,007 receiving yards (8.3 average yards per reception) and 2 receiving touchdowns.

This season, Martin played in 8 games and carried the ball 144 times for 421 rushing yards (2.9 average yards per carry). He also caught 14 passes for 134 receiving yards (9.6 average yards per reception).
