Julian Green, the young, American rising star, who most notably made an appearance for the national team in the 2014 World Cup, and even scored a goal in the round of 16 match against Belgium, has transferred from Bayern to VfB Stuttgart.
Despite Green’s success on the international stage, he continued to receive little to no minutes on Bayern Munich’s bench, and it looked like it would continue that way for the next couple of years, which is one of the main reasons that contributed to his departure.
The youngster simply needed to move to a smaller club to develop himself, as he wasn’t going to do much on a club like Bayern. If Green continues to develop in Stuttgart, he may be transferred to a bigger club once again. However, the amount of minutes he would get there would certainly rise.
