The Arizona Cardinals have released 5th-year wide receiver Michael Floyd after he was arrested on DUI charges early Monday morning.
Floyd, 27, was arrested early Monday morning on DUI charges after falling asleep behind the wheel of his car and having an officer behind him notice that he did not go through a green light after it cycled through twice.
Floyd has played in the NFL for 5 seasons, all with the Cardinals. This season, he caught 33 passes for 446 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns. Over his 5-year NFL career, Floyd has played in 76 games and caught 242 passes for 3,739 receiving yards and 23 receiving touchdowns.
