D’Qwell Jackson Suspended for 4 Games

Indianapolis Colts’ linebacker D’Qwell Jackson has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Jackson, 33, has played in the NFL for 11 seasons for both the Cleveland Browns and the Colts. He has played in 12 games and recorded 78 tackles, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries, 3 passes defensed, and 4 stuffs so far this season.

Over his 11-year NFL career, Jackson has played in 141 games and has recorded 1,192 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, 13 fumble recoveries, 9 interceptions, 2 touchdowns, 41 passes defended, and 41 stuffs.

Jackson’s career highs in an NFL season are 16 games played (2008, 2011, 2012, and 2013 with the Browns and 2014 and 2015 with the Colts), 158 tackles (2011 with the Browns), 4 sacks (2014 with the Colts), 2 forced fumbles (2012 with the Browns), 4 fumble recoveries (2014 with the Colts), 3 interceptions (2008 with the Browns), 1 touchdown (2012 with the Browns and 2015 with the Colts), 9 passes defended (2015 with the Colts), and 9 stuffs (2011 with the Browns and 2015 with the Colts).

Freeman will be eligible to return from his suspension on Wild Card Weekend if the Colts end up playing then in this season’s NFL playoffs.
