In the Dallas Cowboys’ 17-15 win on the road against the Minnesota Vikings, Cowboys’ tight end Jason Witten was held without a reception for the first time in 131 games.
Witten had a caught at least one pass in 130 consecutive regular season games in a streak that began over eight years ago. Before the Cowboys’ win against the Vikings, the last time Witten was held without a reception in a game was on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008, when the Cowboys lost on the road against the New York Giants by a score of 35-14.
Witten will look to get back on the right track when the Cowboys next hit the field, which will be on the night of Sunday, December 11th, 2016, when they hit the road to take on the Giants.
