For the first time since injuring his back in the preseason, Tony Romo has participated in practice. Though he was only limited, this is a big step forward for the veteran quarterback.

After injuring himself in the preseason, the Dallas Cowboys stated that he should be ready to go by week 8. Their projection was pretty accurate because he should be ready to go within the next couple of weeks. The question is, will they start him?

Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is having a phenomenal season. He’s on pace to have the highest passer rating in rookie quarterback history. It’s hard to say who the Cowboys will go with. It’s easy to say that PrescottĀ is the obvious choice because of the level that he’s playing at, but let’s not forget that when he’s healthy, Tony Romo can play at an elite level.
