Ten Worst IndyCar Wrecks in the DW12 Era

The Verizon IndyCar Series has now already completed half a decade already using the DW12 chassis for all of the cars, dating back to the 2012 season. Due to the safety improvements of the cars and the usage of this relatively new chassis, no driver has been killed as a result of being directly involved in a crash in these new cars. The fact that the drivers have survived even the nastiest of incidents in these cars is a testament to the increased safety of the sport in this era. Here are the top 10 worst wrecks (in reverse order) that have happened in the series over the past five seasons. Videos of each crash are included.
