Army’s Brandon Jackson Dies in a Car Crash

The U.S. Military Academy announced that cornerback Brandon Jackson has died following a single-car crash on Sunday.

“Words can not describe the grief that our team is feeling over the loss of our friend and brother, Brandon,” said Army football head coach Jeff Monken. “He was a beloved teammate and our hearts are with his family at this time of tragedy.”

Around 1:50 AM ET on Sunday morning, police received a call about a car accident. When paramedics arrived at the scene, the driver (Brandon) was still in the driver’s seat and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Brandon Jackson played in every game as a freshman and lead the team in interceptions with 3 as well as having recorded 62 tackles. This season, Jackson had two pass breakups and 6 tackles.
