Saturday during the Houston Cougars’ huge win over the #3 Oklahoma Sooners, Cougars’ quarterback Greg Ward Jr. suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder.
Ward missed Sunday and Monday’s practices after getting a MRI that showed no structural damage. Houston head coach Tom Herman said he expects Ward to practice no later than Wednesday.
Ward is 20-2 as a starter in his college career, and he threw for 321 yards and 2 touchdowns in Houston’s season opener against Oklahoma.
