USA men’s basketball defeats Serbia

The USA men’s basketball team defeated Serbia tonight in the Rio 2016 Olympics. Both teams put up a good fight, and the final score was 94-91. On the final play, Serbia missed a wide-open three and the USA won the game. The leading scorer for Team USA was Cleveland Cavaliers’ star point guard Kyrie Irving. He ended up with 15 points in total. For Serbia, their leading scorer was Nikola Jokic,  who plays center for the Denver Nuggets. The next game for Team USA is their fifth and final preliminary game against France and will be held on Sunday, August 14th at 1:15 PM ET. The next game for Serbia is on Sunday, August 14th at 9:30 PM ET.
