The Philadelphia Eagles could have a major blow to the start of their season, as offensive lineman Lane Johnson is facing a 10-game suspension due to his usage of performance enhancing drugs. Johnson is arguably the team’s best lineman, and it would be devastating to their offense if the suspension goes through. He is, however, appealing the suspension.
Johnson was the 4th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft and has emerged as one of the best offensive lineman in the NFL. He and Jason Peters have been a great duo at the tackle spots for Philadelphia. It would be a huge loss for the Eagles if he is suspended for those first 10 games.
