KV Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais, who drives a Chevrolet-powered car, topped the speed charts in the third practice session for this weekend’s Verizon IndyCar Series race around the 11-turn 1.786-mile temporary street circuit around Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario in Canada for the Honda Indy Toronto with a fastest lap time of 60.604 seconds.
Simon Pagenaud, Will Power, Helio Castroneves, and Scott Dixon rounded out the top 5 fastest drivers in this practice session. Each of the top 5 drivers drives a Chevrolet-powered car. Drivers of the Chevrolet-powered cars took the top 5 and 8 of the top 11 spots on the speed charts in this third practice session. You can see full practice results at Indycar.com.
Qualifications for the race will take place today, Saturday, July 16th, at 1:30 PM ET and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network. The race itself will be held on Sunday, July 17th at 3:37 PM ET and will be broadcast on CNBC starting at 3:00 PM ET.
