Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal topped the speed charts in the final practice leading up to Saturday night’s Firestone 600 with a top lap average speed of 213.935 miles per hour around the 24-degree banked 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas.

In tonight’s practice, Rahal, who placed 2nd at the 2012 Firestone 550, led a group of 5 drivers of Honda-powered cars that were among the top 7 fastest drivers of the session. Josef Newgarden and Tony Kanaan were the only drivers of Chevrolet-powered cars in the top 7, coming in at 2nd and 4th quickest on the charts, respectively. Ryan Hunter-Reay was 3rd quickest, teammates Jack Hawksworth and Takuma Sato were 5th and 6th quickest, respectively, and Marco Andretti was 7th quickest.
