He was 1 of 3 Chevrolet-powered cars in the top 4, with Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon (224.606 miles per hour), and Team Penske’s Will Power (224.384 miles per hour).
Andretti Autosport’s Carlos Munoz was the fastest driver of a Honda-powered car with a best lap speed of 224.772 miles per hour, putting him in 2nd place for this session. Race polesitter James Hinchcliffe, driving a Honda-powered car for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, finished 12th fastest in the session with a best lap time of 223.925 miles per hour. This was the final practice for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. The race itself will take place on Sunday, May 29th starting at 11:00 AM ET. The race will be broadcast on ABC.
